The new brewery is open! We have been flooded with inquiries about when we are opening so rather than waiting until all the construction is complete, we have elected to clean the place up and open our doors while we continue to install the rest of the finishing touches to the facility. Of course, with the new location and visitor’s center, comes a whole new set of ways to experience the brewery. Here are the basics. During our “soft” opening period our visitors center and tasting room will be open from 12pm – 5pm daily. We will be closed on Tuesdays. We have both our beer and our rum available for tasting for the first time ever. The cost for a tour and beer tasting is $7 and the cost for a tour and rum tasting is $9. The cost of the tasting includes a souvenir crystal tasting glass. The beer selection will be a combination of our year-round beers, seasonal and limited release selections. We will be featuring two rums not available anywhere but here in addition to the Thomas Tew Rum that is available in Rhode Island stores. Our tour deck will be open whenever the visitor’s center is open so you can get a great look at the facility even when there isn’t a scheduled tour.

We just received a big shipment of new Newport Storm and, for the first time ever, Thomas Tew branded apparel and accessories. Although we are still in our “soft” opening period, there is plenty to see and taste at our new 293 JT Connell Rd address.
